We are so blessed to have a committed group of supporters that keep us in their prayers and really care about our well-being as if we were family.

Family Stuff

On occasion we cannot fit all the things in our print newsletter that we want to share with our supporters so I put them here.

AISA Playground

This past year has been an extremely busy one where Heather and I got involved with the startup of American International School of Accra.  Heather gave her professional experience as a teacher as well as a fair amount of effort in the design arena as you can see here.  The mural here is one of her many creations at AISA.  You should see her classroom!

Kayla's loyal dog, Tyson, chased and killed (much to our dislike) this mampong lizard in our front yard.  We came home from church and there was the critter dead in the driveway with Tyson and Blaze sitting proudly by their kill.

Science Class

Heather likes a hands on approach when it comes to science.  Here she has a Tuna from the local fish market and the kids are going to dissect it. (Remember a few years ago when Heather and our kids had a science lesson on the back porch with a python!? yuk)  Heather said the kids had a blast poking and touching it.  They go to see the eyeballs and how they are connected to the brain.  Later, we had the leftovers for supper! yum!!

Well, since it was most likely both Kayla and Hunter's dogs that "saved us" from the ravages of the dreaded mampong lizard Hunter gets to pose as well.  Unfortunately Blaze does not cooperate with picture takers!
